Join our Team as a Stores Accounts Supervisor at Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL)

Salary: Up to £36,400 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Location: Larkhill

As a Stores Accounts Supervisor based in Larkhill, you will supervise and manage military accounts on behalf of the Authority, ensuring compliance with current regulations and policy while supporting efficient stores operations and audit readiness.

Your Role:

  • Supervising and managing the day-to-day receipting, back loading and demanding of Authority material onto account.
  • Maintaining equipment table accounts, the Regimental BOWMAN account and all transaction records on the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory system.
  • Supporting audits, inspections, stocktakes and account closures, ensuring records are accurate and maintained.
  • Reporting major discrepancies and supporting compliance with current military regulations and policies.
  • Managing and developing team members within the department and carrying out reasonable tasks requested by the Garrison Stores Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements, including risk assessments and routine safety checks.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • You will hold RQMS/CQMS qualification, Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory, Unit Authorised Ammunition Accountant and JAMES knowledge, together with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Warehousing and Distribution or equivalent, City and Guilds Level 2 for Storekeepers or equivalent, GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, a driving licence and IOSH Managing Working Safely (or willingness to obtain whilst in role).

Experience:

  • You will possess detailed knowledge of Ministry of Defence accounting procedures, equipment management regulations, information technology systems including Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory and JAMES, and health and safety legislation.

Skills:

  • You will have strong teamwork, communication and influencing skills, a customer-focused approach to service delivery, and the ability to manage work, people and resources to achieve results while maintaining high health and safety standards.
