Job Type: Permanent

Location: Halesowen, West Midlands

Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:30, 1hr lunch

We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Stores Assistant to support the busy team at our Fluid Power unit in Halesowen.

About the Stores Assistant role:

As our Stores Assistant, you will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, picking, packing and dispatching goods. You will also be required to assist with processing of stock, including receipting goods, shelving items in the correct locations, stock checks and general warehouse housekeeping. A key member of the team, you will be required to liaise with other colleagues and departments across the branch network.

Experience with either a counterbalance or bendi forklift truck is essential for this role, either with a licence or in-house training. The environment and culture are one where everyone mucks in and works across a variety of tasks. There’s no task this team doesn’t do and so if you are someone that is looking for a role that is varied and you like getting stuck in then this could be the perfect fit!

What we’re looking for in our Stores Assistant:

  • Experience with a counterbalance or bendi forklift truck (essential)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of working in a similar warehouse environment would be greatly beneficial
