Your Job

Are you an organised and proactive materials professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

Do you thrive in a role where accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement are critical to success?

We are seeking a motivated Stores Operator to join our Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operation, supporting the production of high-quality products used in demanding global markets.

Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, controlling, and distributing materials while helping to drive inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. We're looking for someone who not only follows established processes but also looks for opportunities to improve them, bringing fresh ideas and a continuous improvement mindset to the team.

What You Will Do

As a Stores Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials, components, and supplies to support manufacturing operations.
  • Performing kitting activities and preparing material kits in accordance with Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Checking incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation, ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and processing stock transactions using ERP systems.
  • Supporting cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure high levels of stock accuracy.
  • Preparing materials and finished goods for shipment, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Working closely with Manufacturing, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Identifying stock shortages, inventory issues, and potential risks to production schedules.
  • Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient stores environment.
  • Looking beyond day-to-day activities to identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance material flow.
  • Contributing ideas that challenge the status quo and support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
