Join our Team as a Stores Coordinator at Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL)

Salary: Up to £33,500 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends Location: Tidworth/Bulford

Your Role:

  • You will be supervising and organising the store to maximise productivity and efficiency, ensuring the right part is available for the right task at the right time.
  • You will be managing the day-to-day operation of the store, store staff and service delivery to customers.
  • You will be ensuring the smooth supply, receipt, issuing, procurement and replenishment of stock, furniture, fittings, equipment and loan items in line with company procedures.
  • You will be coordinating stock takes, vehicle stock checks, stock layout, and the dispatch of goods to engineers.
  • You will be managing hazardous substances, risk assessments, documentation, and compliance with statutory and health and safety requirements.
  • You will be communicating effectively with maintenance teams and management, investigating incidents, and supporting team performance through reviews, training and absence management.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • A good level of literacy and information technology skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages or equivalent qualifications
  • A clean valid UK driving licence

Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar position
  • A good understanding of inventory, warehousing and stock procurement procedures
  • Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Experience in a customer service role
