We are looking for someone to come and join the team as a Stores Coordinator. You will play a vital role in supporting production by ensuring the timely availability of essential materials, including tooling, consumables, and spare parts.

The role will be based at our Siemens Mobility Bogie Service Centre (BSC) in Goole which is a specialist facility focused on the overhaul and maintenance of train bogies—the critical wheelset assemblies that support and guide trains on the track.

You‘ll make a difference by …

  • Stock control utilizing the stock management system. Receive, dispatch, inspect and issue materials
  • Update the relative order/materials databases and ensure Stores security is maintained
  • Updating relative order/materials databases
  • Control and order stores/depot consumables and tooling
  • Raise transport requests for the transportation of material through authorised accounts to move material to other depot/suppliers
  • Assist technical staff in the identification of materials and raise order requests
  • Loading and unloading of the trucks in a careful manner to ensure the released goods are moved and stored without damage and in line with manual guidelines

Your success will be grounded by …

  • Warehouse and/or logistical experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic engineering knowledge is preferred but not essential
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence of experience is preferred but not essential
