At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.

You'll sit within the Stores GTM function, reporting to the Senior Stores GTM Manager. We bring the category to life in store — connecting how products look with how colleagues sell them. We're a practical, store-facing team that cares about what actually works on the shop floor, not just what looks good on a slide. You'll work closely with store managers and colleagues across the estate, making sure the category is presented and sold brilliantly every day. Partnering with Central Marketing and supplier brand partners, you'll plan and deliver co-funded campaigns and in-store activation. You'll also work with Central Ops and the Levelling Up team to make sure selling standards and colleague capability stay sharp across the business.

Role overview

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering the category marketing calendar — managing POS, signage, campaign activation and display presentation in line with the commercial plan.
  • Owning the selling execution agenda for the category, making sure colleagues are confident and consistently applying the LIFE framework to convert customers into high-value sales.
  • Building and maintaining the integrated category brief for store teams — a single, clear guide covering what to sell, how to present it and what the priority outcomes are.
  • Owning demo execution across the category, making sure fixtures are maintained and colleagues are equipped to use demo as a real conversion tool.
  • Developing category-specific selling guides and training content, working with L&D to keep product knowledge accurate and useful for the selling environment.
  • Being the go-to contact for store teams on all category execution matters — visiting stores regularly and making sure their feedback shapes future planning.
  • Tracking category conversion, basket value and attachment rates, spotting and addressing performance gaps across the estate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements

  • Experience in retail marketing, selling or category execution — ideally with exposure to both.
  • A background working with or communicating to store teams in a multi-site retail environment.

  • Experience planning and executing in-store marketing campaigns, including POS, supplier activation and display management.
  • Confidence coaching store teams on selling technique and motivating colleagues to apply selling frameworks in the moment.
  • Sharp data skills that track category performance metrics and quickly turn them into action.
