Job Opportunity: Stores Specialist in Defence and Security
You will get the exciting opportunity to make an impact in a defence and security environment while developing your career in a technically focused stores function. This is an opportunity to support safe and efficient operations where accuracy, traceability, and compliance matter.
You will be joining an established defence and security organisation supporting highly specialised operational capabilities across the UK and international markets. The environment offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced technical teams while building your knowledge within a safety-critical and regulated setting, with clear scope to develop your career.
What you will need
- British nationality
- Previous storekeeping experience, ideally within an aerospace, defence, or similarly regulated environment.
- Experience carrying out goods-inwards inspections and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Knowledge of Civil Aviation Authority Part 145 requirements.
- Strong accuracy, IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, with the ability to follow controlled processes.

Your role
- Receive, inspect, locate, and issue parts, tooling, and consumables using inventory management systems.
- Complete goods-inwards inspections and verify deliveries against relevant documentation and requirements.
- Maintain accurate stock records, part identification, and tooling information.
- Monitor shelf-life-controlled items and support stocktaking activities.
- Support the compliant packaging, labelling, and dispatch of goods, including regulated items.
- Help maintain secure, safe, and well-organised stores areas in line with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Your experience
- Practical experience within a stores, logistics, or inventory environment.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and maintaining accurate stock transactions.
- Understanding of inspection, traceability, and stock control processes.
- Good working knowledge of IT with strong literacy and numeracy.
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider operational team.

Where you will work
Based in Belfast on an onsite working pattern.
