About the role

The Warehouse Officer plays an important role in making sure aircraft material moves safely, accurately and efficiently through our Newport warehouse. You’ll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing and dispatching parts in line with our procedures, customer requirements and relevant regulatory standards.

Working as part of a high-performing warehouse team, you’ll help protect inventory integrity, maintain clear records and support the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a full-time, warehouse-based role, with working hours and shift arrangements set locally to meet operational needs. Flexibility may be required during busier periods, stock activity or urgent customer demand.

What you’ll be doing

  • Receive aircraft parts and materials, checking quantities, condition, certification and supporting documentation before completing accurate system transactions.
  • Carry out warehouse quality inspections, identifying discrepancies or nonconformities early and escalating or quarantining affected material in line with procedure.
  • Handle, label and store aeronautical material correctly, including ESD-sensitive, hazardous, high-value and controlled items.
  • Pick and verify material accurately against approved instructions, maintaining full traceability and inventory control.
  • Pack parts for domestic and international dispatch using suitable packaging standards and prepare complete, accurate shipping documentation.
  • Complete Quantum and associated warehouse transactions accurately and promptly, maintaining organised electronic and physical records.
  • Take ownership of daily priorities, raise risks early and support the achievement of operational targets.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and inventory discipline, including daily ESD mat and MHE checks, monthly racking inspections and the correct storage of tools and material.
  • Follow approved processes consistently, report errors openly, build expertise in assigned areas and help remove ambiguity from standard work.
  • Identify and share practical improvement ideas, challenge inefficient ways of working constructively and participate in trials and continuous improvement activity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, Operations and other departments, undertaking other reasonable duties that support the needs of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
