Stores Manager | Private Hospital | Full Time | Farnham

Spire Clare Park Hospital, Farnham, is looking for a Stores Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As Stores Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of both clinical and non-clinical supply chain operations across the hospital and its satellite sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring efficient stock management, cost control, operational effectiveness and the smooth delivery of supplies that support exceptional patient care.

You'll also manage and develop the stores and supply chain team, overseeing performance, workload planning, training, appraisals and the achievement of departmental objectives.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and organised individual who can:

  • Work with the stores team to ensure efficient stock control for all services
  • Manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong people management skills to ensure effective relationships with the Heads of Departments and the stores team
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Remain calm and effective in demanding situations
  • Use Microsoft Excel confidently (intermediate level)
  • Possess a basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Have previous experience within stores, logistics, supply chain or inventory management
