Pertemps Gloucester are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a growing and well-invested manufacturing business in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse or stores professional looking to join a busy team with long-term career prospects. You'll be responsible for managing goods in and goods out, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the stores department. Forklift experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage goods in and goods out processes
- Operate a forklift truck safely (training available)
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Carry out stock checks and support stock takes
- Correctly code, track, and issue materials
- Support dispatch activities and goods collections
- Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a tidy working environment
- Assist with general warehouse operations as required
About You
- Previous warehouse or stores experience
- Strong goods in, goods out, and stock control knowledge
- Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Good IT skills and experience using stock systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, reliable team player with a positive attitude
