Role Type: Fixed Term Contract – January 2027 Based: Stoke Bakery, Mr Kipling manufacturer, ST4 6PH Shift Pattern: Full Time Days 7.00am Start, 39 hours per week
Main purpose of role: To ensure the distribution of necessary ingredients and packaging required to ensure continuous production.
What you’ll be doing: Duties to include but not limited to:
- Taking delivery of all inbound deliveries, ensuring they are receipted, and stored safely and securely.
- Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to coordinate receipt and distribution of ingredients and materials to production plants.
- Keep all storage areas clean and tidy.
- Ensure customer enquiries to department are dealt with effectively.
- Maintain the flexibility of the department/company as required by Stores Supervisor.
- Maintain work area ensuring safe manual handling techniques are used across the site.
- Always working in line with current Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to coordinate receipt and distribution of ingredients and materials to production plants.
- Working safely with the use of forklift trucks.

Essential
- Good Communication Skills (written and verbal).
- Team player.
- Self-motivated.
- Strong prioritising skills and ability to manage own workload.
- Basic computer skills.
Desirable
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ideally hold a Forklift Truck Driver License.
- Knowledge of using SAP would be advantageous.
