Role Overview

You will be working in the Building Services OU, on a long term MoD, PFI contract near Watford where we are responsible for complete facilities management, covering all non-military support including, soft services & hard services.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Stores Operative who will co-ordinate and manage all reactive maintenance trackers and reactive records on the provided Information Management Systems, databases, and CAFM system.

Responsibilities

As The Maintenance Stores Operative, You Will

• Ensure the engineering stores and workshops are inspected and maintained in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
• Ensure all persons requiring escorting are correctly identified and always comply with the site security and safety requirements.
• Carry out weekly fire alarm testing.
• Provide general assistance as and when directed in support of engineering and asset management tasks.
• Maintain a complete and up-to-date stores inventory of all spares, tools, and equipment including updating databases and carry out regular stock checks.
• Inform the procurement team when minimum stock levels are reached to ensure critical spares are maintained at correct stock levels.
• Ensure goods received are correctly identified and issued to the appropriate tradesman.
