Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Fixed-term contract (6 months)
Salary: Competitive; Depending on Experience
About The Role
We are looking for a Stores Person to be based from our Duxford depot on a fixed-term basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting the accurate receipting, storage and dispatch of parts. You will help maintain stock accuracy, support internal teams and customers, and contribute to a safe and organised working environment.
Key responsibilities
- You will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring all stock movements and processes are completed accurately and efficiently in line with company standards.
- Receive, inspect and book in stock from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Pick, pack and dispatch parts for internal departments and external customers
- Maintain accurate stock records, including regular stock checks and reconciliations
- Ensure all items are stored correctly, labelled appropriately and easy to locate
- Support general warehouse duties, including housekeeping and adherence to health and safety

About You
You will be a reliable and organised individual, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or service-based role
- Strong numerical and data accuracy skills when handling parts and stock locations
- Good communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- A team player with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Understanding of health and safety within a warehouse environment
Desirable
- Valid UK driving licence
- Forklift truck licence
Working Hours
- Monday – Wednesday: 09:00 – 17:30
- Thursday: 09:30 – 17:30
- Friday: 09:30 – 17:00
