The Stores Person will play an important role in supporting day-to-day operations by ensuring materials, components, and documentation are managed accurately and efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with production, purchasing, and workshop teams, you will be responsible for goods receiving, stock control, shipping activities, and supporting the flow of materials required to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

The Stores Person will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for goods receiving activities.
  • Receiving deliveries and accurately booking materials into the ERP system.
  • Reporting delivery discrepancies to the relevant buyer or material controller.
  • Scanning and storing delivery documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Managing the packing and shipment of goods, including associated customs documentation.
  • Providing product identification and serial numbering support through laser marking.

The Stores Person will have:

  • At least 3 years' experience within an engineering stores, warehouse, or materials environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and stock control processes.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with a methodical and accurate approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
