Stores Operative
FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join our Street Lighting division. As our Stores Operative, you will be responsible for providing an effective yard and stores service, including providing support to the divisions working out of this site. This is a permanent, full-time position from our Dartford depot.
Duties
The duties of the Stores Operative role will include:
- Ensuring all stock levels are maintained and can be accounted for
- Ensuring the whole yard is always kept clean and tidy
- Working with the Yard / Stores Supervisor and ensure the yard is compliant with current Health & Safety legislation
- Issuing materials and stocked items only if correct documentation has been received and processed
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a Stores Operative with knowledge of health and safety, highways, and building materials. Ideally, you will have a background in stock control procedures. A driving license and access to your own vehicle is required due to the remote location of the yard.
