As a Stores Supervisor in our Health team at Forth Valley Hospital, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of the stores function, ensuring critical materials, consumables, tools, and equipment are available when needed to support essential hospital services. Your work will help maintain safe, effective facilities management operations that support patients, visitors, and healthcare colleagues every day.
By ensuring stock is managed efficiently, suppliers are coordinated effectively, and continuous improvements are identified, you'll play an important role in creating impactful solutions that support healthcare delivery. What you'll do as a Stores Supervisor
- Manage stock, equipment, and materials to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels using the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system.
- Source, purchase, and order products and materials, ensuring value for money and compliance with agreed processes.
- Organise and supervise monthly and annual stock takes, maintaining effective stock control and security.
- Allocate work and provide day-to-day supervision to stores colleagues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the stores environment to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Vetting and checks
This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme, which involves a detailed check of spent and unspent convictions and other relevant information to ensure safeguarding compliance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can provide any necessary support to help you carry out your responsibilities.
