About Us

CO Home Improvements are a group of six retail brands operating across the North of England and Cumbria, forming part of the £60 million turnover Conservatory Outlet Group. As established leaders in the design and installation of conservatories, orangeries, windows, doors, and modern living spaces, we’re committed to transforming homes with innovative, high-quality products that combine striking design with everyday functionality. Our approach is rooted in delivering exceptional customer service.

About The Role

You will support the day-to-day operation of the stores/ warehouse at our Leyland site, with occasional travel to our Kendal site as required. The role is responsible for managing the complete flow of stock and products, from receiving deliveries through to ensuring materials are stored safely, accurately and prepared for our installation teams. Our product range includes windows, doors, bifold doors and conservatory roofing components. You will ensure materials for ongoing projects are readily available, well organised and efficiently managed. The role also involves occasional deliveries of bifold doors and other products using the company van, while supporting the Contracts Manager with all aspects of logistics, stores management and stock control.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
