£27000 - £30,110 + London Weighting at £5441 - depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
EastEnders are seeking a Team Assistant to provide consistent administrative and production support to the Story Producer and Story Department, ensuring the smooth coordination of conferences, diaries, schedules, forward planning and publishing of the Story Document. As a Story Team Assistant you’ll play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing disruption, and enabling the creative team to focus on delivering the much-loved drama of Albert Square. You will act as a central point of organization, bringing structure and clarity to the fast-paced, multi-team environment.
We are ideally looking for someone to start early December. Interviews to take place early November.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Manage cast annual leave requests and monitor real-time availability for a 70-member cast, ensuring accurate records are maintained and communicated to relevant production teams.
- Organise and coordinate monthly Story Conferences, quarterly Long-Term conferences, New Voices Conferences and other departmental meetings, including scheduling, agendas, documentation, budgets, note-taking and follow-up actions, as well as coordinating and managing the Story Producer’s diary.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Story Producer and Story Department, maintaining trackers, documentation and departmental records to support effective planning and delivery.
- Support editorial and story planning processes by liaising with writers, coordinating pitching activity, distributing materials and maintaining story documentation.
- Act as a key point of contact between editorial, story and production teams, ensuring clear communication, effective coordination and alignment across departments.
- Assist with forward planning activities and the publication of story materials, helping the department meet production deadlines and creative objectives.

Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Demonstrable experience providing high-level administrative, coordinator or executive support within a television, media, production or similarly fast-paced creative environment, supporting multiple stakeholders and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Proven experience managing complex diaries, schedules and availability for multiple senior stakeholders, with the ability to anticipate conflicts, identify solutions and maintain operational continuity.
- Significant experience organising and coordinating conferences, workshops, meetings or industry events, including logistics, agenda management, documentation, minute taking and follow-up action tracking.
- Demonstrable experience maintaining detailed trackers, records and documentation, with exceptional attention to detail and a consistent track record of accuracy when handling sensitive or time-critical information.
- Strong organisational skills, with evidence of managing multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work under pressure.
- Experience acting as a central point of contact between departments, building effective relationships and communicating confidently with editorial, production, creative and operational stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Teams and Excel, and experience using planning, scheduling or project-tracking systems to support team operations.

Desirable But Not Required
- Familiarity with supporting editorial or creative teams in a structured, administrative capacity is desirable.
- Demonstrable interest in the operational side of production, with a clear ambition of pursuing a career in production/administrative management.
