Storyteller – End-to-End Video Production

Sequel is a digital family office backing the world’s best athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs in companies that advance humanity. Our core focus is helping founders tell their stories—which enables us to access their worlds and help them accelerate their impact.

We invite a dynamic Storyteller to join our growing team. Unlike traditional roles that focus on a single skill (e.g., editing or filming), this position requires full-spectrum ownership: researching concepts, scripting, shooting, editing, sound design, and motionwork.

What the Role Encompasses

  • Beyond the brief: Instead of executing pre-defined tasks, you’ll help shape what gets created, why it matters, and how it’ll feel.
  • A full journey: Discover subjects, develop narratives, write scripts, set up and execute shoots, edit videos, and bring content to life through music, motion, and animation.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production

  • Deliver end-to-end videos that inspire and educate—ideal for our members and portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate at the nexus of startups and storytelling: Work closely with founders to document their journeys, experiments, and impactful missions.
  • Capture footage during studio shoots and offsite locations.
  • Edit compelling content across formats:
    • Trailers
    • Drop videos
    • Educational investing content
    • Founder case studies
    • B-roll footage
    • Mission-driven purpose-driven stories

Shoot Execution & Optimization

  • Set up professional shoots: Coordinate lighting (e.g. Nikon lights), camera movements (e.g. gimbals), and cinematic framing.
  • Optimize videos for social media and app integration, ensuring seamless branding.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
