What will you be doing?
The purpose of this role is to help support further growth by nourishing, building, and growing their existing relationships with some of their most important customers in the small medium-sized business sector (SMB).
Main Accountabilities:
- Enable customers to be more successful through the application of cloud-based technologies and in doing so become their most ‘Trusted Advisor’.
- Liaise with your colleagues in specialist roles such Customer Experience, Customer Success and Product/Solution Sales Specialists.
- Create and implement Account Plans for all strategic accounts with short-term objectives and long-term goals, along with clearly defined steps to reach them.
- Proactively establishing professional and productive relationships with all relevant stakeholders in each Customer account.
- Assessing, clarifying, and validating customer requirements, needs, and goals on a consistent basis.
- Speaking with customer stakeholders on a regular basis to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities so that you can propose relevant solutions for their organisation.
- Coordinating with colleagues in management, CX, Customer Success and Product/Solution Specialists to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, sales objectives, and performance goals are achieved.

Person Specification:
- Ability to help customers understand, invest in, and unlock the value of cloud-based technologies relevant to their business.
- Ability to provide customers with an efficient and cost-effective source of valued and relevant technologies and services.

- Superior communication skills (both written and oral) and comfortable presenting and speaking to senior-level executives.

- An outside-of-the-box thinker with proven experience developing creative solutions to customer’s out-of-the-ordinary problems.
- Leadership skills with an empathetic approach – our success is based on our customers’ success, so you must be ready to drop everything at a moment’s notice to help.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in Account Management, Sales, and/or Marketing in a cloud-technology business.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Sales Force, Gong, etc.
Additional Information
- Annual Leave: 20 days’ paid holiday.
- Public Holidays: 12 paid bank holidays.
- Pension: Statutory pension provision.
- Sick Leave: 20 days’ statutory sick pay.
- Working Pattern: 10-day fortnight.
- Work Environment: Full-time, office-based role.
- Parental Leave: Statutory maternity and paternity leave.
The recruitment journey
We want to fill this role quickly, but we want to get the right person. The recruitment process will consist of a screening call. If you proceed past this, then you will have an interview over Teams and possibly a follow-up interview and competency testing depending on the role requirements.
Yearly Salary – Advertised: £70,000 pa
