Strategic Account Director

Strategic Account Director – Service Assurance (Europe)

About the Role & Team

Infovista is hiring a Strategic Account Director to grow our Service Assurance business across the European region. The ideal candidate will lead sales and business development for Infovista’s strategic accounts, with a focus on our automated assurance product lines.

We seek a highly skilled professional with:

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong sales expertise with a track record in complex, multi-stage sales cycles
  • Technical aptitude in telecom service assurance, OSS environments, and automated systems

The role requires collaboration with pre-sales, sales ops, product marketing, and product development to deliver measurable value for our customers—offering significant growth and reward opportunities for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the entire quote-to-cash process for Infovista’s Automated Assurance solutions in Europe
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at all major customers and prospects regionally
  • Develop and execute account-based sales strategies and business plans to drive revenue and profitability
  • Generate and qualify pipeline, while providing accurate revenue forecasting
  • Manage region-specific marketing leads, alongside Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns

Qualifications

Experience & Industry Expertise

  • 7+ years selling to telecom operators, OTT providers, or similar CSP-centric businesses
  • 15+ years total experience in telecommunications/networks
  • Deep exposure to service assurance systems and hands-on knowledge of operators’ OSS environments
  • Experience selling complex, network-based solutions (e.g., voice, video, mobile broadband)
  • Familiarity with OSS/BSS tools, radio planning, and network testing/optimisation
  • Expertise in automation & AI/ML to reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and improve operational efficiency

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Studies

Technical & Sales Knowledge

  • Advanced understanding of Network Testing, Planning, Optimization, Monitoring & Performance Management
  • Expertise in at least one major B2B sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sale)
  • Proven history of executive engagements with senior stakeholders

  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe

Additional Skills

  • Salesforce experience (highly regarded)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
