Who Are We?
Advancing Analytics are a market leader in delivering pioneering analytical solutions for customers all over the world. To thrive in today's market, businesses need to implement AI built on a solid, reliable Data Platform, and we are looking for you to help us build it!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven and self-motivated services sales professional who is passionate about helping customers achieve more through Data and AI.
This role will focus on growing our relationships with leading global insurance providers and brokers. You will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic customers, building trusted relationships across their organisations and identifying opportunities to expand our work into new business units, functions and geographies.
You will have a strong track record in enterprise Data and AI services sales, ideally gained within the insurance or wider financial services sector. You may have worked for Microsoft, Databricks, a global consultancy or a specialist Data and AI partner, and you will be comfortable navigating complex organisations and engaging senior stakeholders.
The customers you will manage operate globally, and Advancing Analytics is continuing to expand its go-to-market presence in the US. The role is therefore likely to involve international travel, particularly to North America, to develop customer relationships, support strategic opportunities and collaborate with our technology partners.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Head of Financial Services, you will have full strategic and commercial ownership of a portfolio of Advancing Analytics’ largest insurance provider and broker relationships. Your primary focus will be to deepen these relationships, grow long-term account value and establish Advancing Analytics as a trusted Data and AI partner across each customer’s global organisation.
As Strategic Account Director, you will develop and execute multi-year account plans, build strong C-suite relationships and lead complex sales opportunities across multiple business units, service areas and geographies. You will also identify and develop new strategic insurance relationships that complement our existing customer portfolio.
You will manage your pipeline independently while benefiting from our marketing capabilities, specialist consulting teams and strong relationships with Microsoft, Databricks, AWS and Google Cloud. All activity will be captured in HubSpot to support effective account governance, forecasting and collaboration across sales, consulting and delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
