Strategic Account Executive – AI Insurtech
Remote UK | Commercial Insurance Technology | High-Growth Insurtech | Uncapped Commission + Equity
The Opportunity
We're partnering with a fast-growing AI Insurtech that's building technology designed to give commercial insurance professionals better visibility of their market and new business opportunities.
About the Role
As the business continues to expand across the UK, they're looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to take ownership of new customer acquisition across the commercial insurance market. This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales position with significant autonomy. You'll identify target accounts, create your own pipeline, engage senior insurance professionals and manage opportunities all the way through to close. It's particularly suited to an established SaaS seller who wants to move beyond simply working an existing territory and have greater ownership over how they build and develop their market.
Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
- Own new business development across a defined section of the UK commercial insurance market, with responsibility for the complete sales journey.
- Identifying and winning new customers across commercial insurance.
- Building your own qualified pipeline through proactive outbound activity.
- Developing strategic relationships with brokers and other relevant insurance stakeholders.
- Running discovery-led conversations to understand commercial challenges and priorities.
- Positioning the platform's market intelligence against tangible customer needs.
- Managing opportunities from initial engagement through demonstration, negotiation and close.
- Developing targeted account plans for priority prospects.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility and sales forecasts.
- Building strong knowledge of the insurance ecosystem and feeding market insight back into the wider business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Preferred Skills
- Previous experience within insurance, Insurtech or financial services would be valuable, but isn't essential for a strong B2B SaaS seller who can demonstrate the right experience and appetite to learn the market.
Why Join?
- You'll be joining at an early stage of the company's commercial growth, giving you the opportunity to make a visible contribution rather than becoming another salesperson within a large established team.
- A competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Early-stage equity.
- Remote-first working across the UK.
- The opportunity to become one of the company's early commercial hires.
- Exposure to the growing intersection of AI, SaaS and commercial insurance.
- Significant ownership over your pipeline, accounts and new-business strategy.
- The opportunity to develop alongside the commercial organisation as the company scales.
If you're an experienced SaaS seller who enjoys building pipeline, winning new customers and taking genuine ownership of a market, this is an opportunity to make your impact visible from day one.
