Join the team as Twilio’s Next Strategic Account Executive (German Speaking).
About the Role
This position is needed to sell into high value prospects and customers. The selected candidate will play a key role in further growing the business across EMEA, with a particular focus on DACH. The responsible person will manage fast-growing customers in the region and focus primarily on product cross- and up-sell as well as revenue growth, sourcing net new opportunities within an assigned set of accounts.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Serve the fastest-growing customers in the region.
- Grow our revenue and share of wallet within your key account list.
- Open doors to the purchase of Twilio’s products and services—including voice, messaging, email, contact centre, and account security software.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contract process.
- Sell solutions to a technical and business audience.
- Build trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers.
- Leverage extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills to simplify complex contractual, technical, and financial details.
- Balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals simultaneously.

Qualifications

Required:
- 6+ years of account management/sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base.
- A history of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to Digital Natives.
- Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis.
- A track record of account management experience and a solid understanding of how to cross- and upsell solutions within a mature customer base.
- A solid grasp of financial reporting for direct customer bases (revenue tracking).
- Proficiency in German.
Desired (but not mandatory):
- Experience selling to both business and technical audiences.
- Familiarity with the communications market, ideally including experience selling or working with messaging, voice calling, email, account security verification, or prior roles in traditional telecommunications environments/businesses.
- Curious and outgoing networker.
- Strong emotional intelligence.

The position will be based in the United Kingdom.
