About CloudBees
CloudBees helps organizations build, run, and govern software factories, giving enterprises the confidence to ship software better, faster, and safer.
Writing code is no longer the bottleneck. Governing what reaches production and validating its impact is. As enterprises adopt agentic coding, software is created faster than most teams can review, secure, and validate. Without consistent governance, organizations risk shipping code they cannot explain, audit, or trust.
CloudBees addresses this challenge without asking teams to replace the tools they already use. Across every toolchain a customer runs, CloudBees makes each change, human or AI, visible, auditable, and accountable before it reaches production. CloudBees Unify is the product behind this: a governance layer, with context and control-plane capabilities, that enforces consistent policy and evidence across every tool, team, and workflow.
Founded in 2010, CloudBees is backed by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bridgepoint Capital, HSBC, Golub Capital, Delta-v Capital, Matrix Partners, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

The Opportunity
Germany's flagship enterprises - automotive, manufacturing, financial services, telecoms - run some of the most demanding software delivery operations in Europe. As AI accelerates how much code gets written, the pressure on delivery, governance, and security only grows. CloudBees helps them build better, faster, and safer. We're hiring the seller who will own that story in the German market, based out of London.
This is not a classic AE seat. You'll operate as the franchise owner of the German strategic business: developing our most important existing customers - including DAX 40 and MDAX organizations - while personally opening the strategic accounts we haven't won yet. You'll work from our London hub with regular travel to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Requirements
About the Role: Two Motions, One Owner
- Protect & grow. Develop strategic existing German customers, build durable executive relationships from engineering leadership to the C-suite, and identify major expansion opportunities.
- Hunt & create. Penetrate net-new strategic accounts across the DACH region and personally generate pipeline - with a repeatable prospecting system of your own, not a dependency on inbound.
What You'll Do
- Own a territory of strategic German enterprise accounts end to end - strategy, relationships, pipeline, and revenue.
- Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in German across CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, CISOs, technical teams, works-council-aware procurement, and multi-level buying committees.
- Build Champions, gain access to Economic Buyers, and translate technology into business impact: productivity, cost, risk, governance, and time-to-value.
- Personally create qualified pipeline through a disciplined, measurable prospecting cadence.
- Travel regularly to customers across Germany and the wider DACH region - face time matters in this market.
- Orchestrate virtual teams - Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Partners, and leadership - while keeping full accountability for outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Bring
- Enterprise track record. Repeated success selling complex software into very large German or DACH enterprises, with meaningful ACVs, long multi-level sales cycles, and consistent quota attainment over several years - not one exceptional deal.
- A hunter's engine. Proof that you've personally opened greenfield strategic accounts and converted them into pipeline and revenue.
- Value-selling discipline. Strong discovery and command of a structured qualification methodology (MEDDPICC or equivalent), applied in real deals.
- Technical credibility. Comfort in DevOps, developer tools, cloud, observability, cybersecurity, data platforms, or adjacent enterprise technology. You don't need to be an engineer - you need the curiosity to be credible with people who are.
- Dual-audience fluency. You can explain a platform to a CTO, then make the same investment matter to a CFO - in German and in English.
- Languages. Business fluent German (C2), spoken and written, plus strong professional English. German is essential because the role sells into German-speaking buying committees daily.
- Location and eligibility. London-based, or within easy reach of it, with the willingness to travel frequently to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Where You Might Be Coming From
Sellers who thrive here often come from enterprise technology vendors in DevOps and developer tools, cloud and infrastructure, observability, data platforms, or cybersecurity - selling into the German market. The logo matters less than what you did there: the accounts you opened, the deals you ran, and the pipeline you built yourself.
How You Will Be Evaluated
We assess demonstrated, job-related evidence - real deals, real numbers, real accounts - not company names or interview charisma. Expect us to go deep: your largest German enterprise deals from first pain to signature, and how you generate pipeline when nobody hands you leads.

The bar we hold ourselves to: would we confidently put you in front of the CIO of one of our largest DAX 40 customers next month - and trust you to build a business from zero pipeline rather than wait for one?
