Strategic Account Manager – QSR / Food & Hospitality

About the Role

A leading global digital food delivery and marketplace organisation is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to manage a portfolio of major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chains and drive strategic commercial growth across the UK.

This role combines strategic account management, commercial planning, data analysis, and senior stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for developing joint business plans, identifying growth opportunities, and translating complex performance data into clear strategies that increase revenue, order volume, and operational efficiency.

The position is suited to an experienced account manager or business development professional with a strong commercial and analytical mindset and a deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage strategic relationships with major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chains.
  • Lead high-level commercial planning and execution across key strategic accounts.
  • Analyse complex commercial and operational data to identify growth opportunities and key challenges.
  • Translate data and performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with strategic partners, defining objectives, initiatives, and performance measures.
  • Track account performance against agreed commercial objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Turn performance insights into partnership-led actions that drive mutual growth.
  • Influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic account initiatives.
  • Manage complex client-side relationships and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, order volume, and operational efficiency.
  • Build long-term, high-value relationships with strategic restaurant partners.
  • Stay informed on restaurant, hospitality, and food delivery market trends to identify emerging opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in strategic account management, key account management, or business development.
  • Experience managing significant commercial partnerships or enterprise-level accounts.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Experience preparing and leading QBRs and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of the restaurant, QSR, hospitality, or food delivery industry.
  • Knowledge of wider restaurant market trends and evolving consumer behaviour.
