Trading since 1989, e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK's number one residential surveyor and the largest provider of property risk expertise and residential surveying services. To put it into numbers, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors from Land’s End to John O’Groats and Northern Ireland. This gives us the flexibility to offer nationwide coverage combined with invaluable local knowledge.
We're part of the LSL Property Services Group PLC, which includes household names Your Move and Reeds Rains as well as the mortgage network PRIMIS. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities and estate agents in addition to private customers.
At e.surv Chartered Surveyors, we're looking for a Strategic Account Manager to take ownership of some of our most important lender and corporate client relationships, helping to drive growth, maximise account value, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping strategic partnerships, influencing senior stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities across our market-leading surveying and property services division.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing strategic account plans for key lender and corporate clients.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, partners, and industry bodies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, understanding client strategies and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Driving account growth through business development, pipeline management, and targeted campaigns.
- Working closely with e.surv's subject matter experts to deliver solutions that meet client and business objectives.
- Identifying and developing new revenue opportunities across valuation services, consumer surveys, energy efficiency, asset management, and other specialist offerings.
- Collaborating with the Business Development Director to support new business acquisition and market growth initiatives.
- Leading commercial discussions and helping shape deal structures that deliver value for both clients and e.surv.
- Creating and maintaining strategic account plans, client engagement programmes, and Keep In Touch (KIT) strategies.
- Monitoring account performance, revenue targets, and key business development KPIs.
- Coordinating with teams across Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and Surveying to ensure exceptional client service.
- Managing complex stakeholder requirements and resolving challenges with a proactive, solution-focused approach.

Qualifications & Experience
- Business related Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable
- Sufficient years of work experience operating at senior level within strategic Business Development.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to secure, manage and expand large accounts
- Strong leadership and commercial acumen
- Sales / Business Development experience
- Knowledge of related risks with ability to identify, assess and manage them appropriately.
- Ability to demonstrate managing multiple stakeholders at various levels
- You'll have extensive Commercial/ Relationship experience
- Experience in the property, financial services, or related sectors
- Extensive UK travel with overnight stays to be supported.
