The Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading global technology consultancy to appoint an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join its growing UK team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded technology professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and helping enterprise organisations deliver complex digital transformation programmes.

You'll manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while driving account growth, overseeing successful delivery and identifying opportunities to expand existing partnerships.

The Role

As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of enterprise clients across multiple industries.

Working closely with delivery teams, architects and senior business leaders, you'll understand your clients' strategic objectives and translate them into technology-led solutions that deliver measurable business value.

This role combines strategic account management, commercial growth and programme oversight, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship management and technology consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Grow and manage a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Support complex technology and digital transformation programmes from inception through delivery.
  • Develop account strategies and growth plans aligned to client objectives.
  • Collaborate with consulting, engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Lead commercial discussions, proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor account performance, client satisfaction and delivery metrics.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate technology and business transformation challenges.

About You

You'll come from a technology consulting, IT services or digital transformation background and have a proven track record of managing and growing enterprise accounts.

You'll be comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders, identifying commercial opportunities and working alongside technical teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Experience within a consulting or professional services environment is essential, and you'll have a strong understanding of modern technology landscapes, software delivery and digital transformation.

Essential Experience

  • Experience within a technology consultancy or IT services organisation.
  • Proven success managing strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Strong commercial and business development skills.
  • Experience overseeing complex technology or digital transformation programmes.
  • Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Understanding of software development, cloud technologies and modern delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with multinational clients and distributed delivery teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe when required.
