Strategic Account Manager
We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join a growing technology consultancy, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key enterprise clients.
This is a relationship-led role where you'll own a small number of strategic accounts, building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders while identifying opportunities to expand existing engagements. You'll work closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure successful outcomes and help clients solve complex business challenges through technology.
What you'll be doing
- Own and develop a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts.
- Build strong relationships across client organisations, identifying new stakeholders and opportunities.
- Create and execute account growth plans that drive long-term value.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts, supporting the sales process through to close.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor account performance, commercial health, and engagement metrics.
- Coordinate internal resources to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

What we're looking for
- Proven experience in Strategic Account Management, Client Partner, or Enterprise Account Management roles.
- Experience working within an IT services, software consultancy, or digital engineering organisation.
- A consultative approach with a track record of growing existing client accounts rather than purely winning new business.
- Experience managing a portfolio of enterprise customers (typically 3–5 strategic accounts).
- Comfortable working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
- An understanding of software delivery, digital transformation, or technology consulting environments.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and confident in taking ownership of client relationships.

- Exposure to large, complex enterprise organisations.
- Experience managing accounts with multi-million-pound annual revenues.
