About the Role
We’re recruiting a technical salesperson to develop strategic accounts and win new customers for industrial automation and controls products.
You will manage a defined portfolio of accounts and targeted prospects across:
- Energy management
- Building efficiency
- EV
- Microgrids
- Industrial electrical distribution
The work involves:
- Identifying opportunities
- Understanding customer applications
- Presenting technical solutions
- Negotiating
- Converting prospects into long-term customers
You will also drive adoption of new products, maintain an accurate sales pipeline and bring customer feedback to product management to help shape future product development. Success will be measured through revenue growth, new customers won, new product sales and the proportion of available business secured.

Requirements
You will need:
- An Engineering or related bachelor’s degree.
- At least five years’ experience in building energy efficiency, energy storage, EV or distributed energy resources.
- Strong industrial automation product and application knowledge.
- A record of winning new business through technical, value-based selling.
- Experience managing international or global accounts and working across complex customer organisations.
- Business proficiency in English and experience using CRM and sales data.

This role requires personal ownership of prospecting and closing business. Technical application knowledge is essential; account maintenance experience alone will not meet the brief.
Job Details
The position is remote and requires extensive travel. You will report to the National Sales Manager – Controls.
