About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive revenue retention and growth across Appier's strategic accounts in EMEA. This is a senior role on our Strategic Account team, responsible for the long-term growth of a portfolio of our highest-value clients. You will find and execute the highest-impact growth opportunities across your accounts, solve the complex performance and measurement problems that unlock them, and build the client relationships and internal coordination to do this repeatably rather than one account at a time. The role is about understanding what drives account growth and owning the outcome, not just managing day-to-day delivery.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Revenue Retention & Growth

  • Own revenue outcomes across a portfolio of strategic accounts, and hit retention and expansion targets.
  • Find and close growth opportunities such as budget increases, product adoption, and geographic expansion.
  • Watch for early churn signals and act on them with reactivation, retention, or commercial plans.

Client Ownership & Strategy

  • Build and own 12-month account growth plans covering relationship mapping, upsell and cross-sell strategy, testing roadmaps, and revenue targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients at every level, up to executive leadership, through planning sessions and regular QBRs that focus on what actually drives their business.
  • Gather market and competitive intelligence through these relationships, and feed it back to Product and Sales to shape strategy and the roadmap.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Technical Consultation

  • Translate complex technical and product concepts such as attribution, incrementality, SKAN, MMP integrations, and bidding models into clear client strategy.
  • Work as the bridge between clients and our internal Product, Engineering, and Analyst teams, and go beyond setup support to solve the measurement and performance problems that matter most to the client.

Campaign Management & Performance Insights

  • Partner with the Analyst and Product teams to keep campaigns running well and optimising effectively.
  • Build structured, hypothesis-led testing frameworks across creative and audiences, recommend creative refreshes based on performance decay and market benchmarks, and deliver insights that tie back to business outcomes rather than just metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align and mobilise Sales, Creative, Product, Finance, and Analyst teams to execute growth plans.
  • Own issues end to end, from internal triage through client communication to follow-through, and use clear escalation paths to remove blockers before they affect delivery.

Operational Excellence

  • Keep forecasting and pipeline management disciplined and current in HubSpot and internal trackers, so account health is clear at any time.
  • Document wins and learnings for internal playbooks, and work with Marketing to turn client wins into case studies and references.

What You Bring (Requirements)

Experience

  • Significant experience in Mobile Advertising, AdTech, or Digital Media in a strategic Account Management, Customer Success, or client-facing commercial role, managing enterprise or strategic accounts with real revenue responsibility.

Technical Depth

  • Genuine fluency across the performance marketing stack, including attribution, incrementality, MMPs, SKAN and post-backs, bidding, and measurement.
  • You can hold a credible, consultative conversation with a sophisticated client about a hard technical problem and lead them toward a solution, rather than just passing the question to an internal team.

Commercial Acumen

  • A track record of driving retention and revenue growth within existing accounts through expansion, upsell, and cross-sell, and of owning a number.
  • Comfortable working on commercial strategy and deal structuring.

Analytical Mindset

  • Data-driven in how you diagnose and decide.
  • You dig into performance to find the underlying cause, form a hypothesis, and connect your recommendations to business impact.

Mindset

  • A proactive, curious self-starter who takes full ownership of client outcomes.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity, able to manage several growth priorities at once, and hold a high bar for accuracy and follow-through in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Communication

  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English is required.
  • You can turn complex data into a clear, convincing story for any audience, from day-to-day contacts to senior decision-makers, and present it well in Excel/Sheets and slides.

The final job title may vary depending on the finalist's seniority and interview performance.
