As our next Strategic Account Manager, you'll play a role in shaping the future of patient care by leading relationships with some of the UK's most influential NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), across London and the South East region.
This is more than a sales role. You'll become a strategic partner to healthcare leaders, bringing together expertise from across our gastrointestinal and surgical business units, to deliver solutions that improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and long-term value.
Working across our full portfolio of capital equipment, consumables, and services, you'll influence complex purchasing decisions, lead cross-functional teams, and drive growth within some of our most strategically important accounts. What you'll be doing
- Drive adoption of Olympus products, services, and value-based solutions across your accounts
- Identify, prioritise, and progress commercial opportunities across the full Olympus portfolio
- Work closely with Territory and Sales Managers to deliver a coordinated customer strategy
- Lead cross-functional account teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Develop and deliver strategic account plans, business reviews, and customer engagement activities
- Coordinate complex customer projects from planning through to delivery
- Present clear, compelling commercial proposals and business cases to senior stakeholders
- Use customer insights and market data to identify growth opportunities and shape account strategies
- Build strong partnerships across the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers
- Act as a trusted expert on the UK healthcare landscape, and your assigned accounts
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM records

Who Olympus are looking for
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of at least 5 years in MedTech, delivering commercial success, with demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
- Indirect and/or direct leadership experience
- Managing complex sales cycles and projects
- Solution development and delivery
- Engaging and influencing senior-level stakeholders
- Building and managing long-term customer relationships
- Analysing sales data and customer sales trends
This role supports selected accounts across the London and South East region. A significant proportion of both customer and internal meetings will be virtual. However, to be successful in this role you should be able to commute to London within a working day, when required. You should also be prepared to travel for internal meetings, customer visits and national events. A full and valid driving licence therefore, is also required.
