Strategic Account Manager Role

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of strategically important accounts within the data centre sector. The role is focused on building long-term commercial partnerships with both enterprise end-users and the general contractors responsible for delivering large-scale data centre fit-out projects.

Initially, the role will concentrate on a number of identified strategic growth accounts, developing and executing account plans that position ONNEC for sustainable growth across multiple projects, regions and service lines. The successful candidate will develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers, identify future opportunities, influence project pipelines and ensure ONNEC is engaged at the earliest stages of customer planning and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with assigned data centre customers, general contractors, manufacturers and distributors.
  • Position Onnec early within customer investment programmes and major data centre fit-out projects.
  • Lead complex commercial opportunities by coordinating internal estimation, commercial and operational teams.
  • Own the sales life cycle from opportunity identification through to successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to maximise opportunities across multiple geographies.
