What You'll Be Doing
As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll be responsible for driving profitable growth across our engineering & technology, construction, and inspection product portfolio by developing and strengthening relationships with a panel of insurance brokers.
You'll create and deliver strategic account plans, identify opportunities to grow market share, and work closely with underwriting and distribution colleagues to convert new business opportunities and retain key accounts. Through your market insight, commercial approach, and relationship-building skills, you'll become a trusted partner to brokers while helping deliver sustainable business growth.
This role requires regular travel to Ireland.

What You Bring
- A passion for building strong, collaborative business relationships.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- A proactive approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service to broker partners.
What You'll Need
- Experience managing broker relationships within the UK insurance market.
- Proven experience in account management, business development, and prospecting new opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
- Good knowledge of the local insurance market and broker landscape.
- Experience within the engineering, construction, insurance, or inspection sectors.
- ACII qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
