Strategic Account Manager - Oil Analysis

This is a really exciting time to join a company that is growing consistently across the fluid and oil analysis, lubricants and reliability markets. We are looking for a commercially driven Strategic Account Manager to develop business primarily across the UK, with some responsibility across Europe. The role will suit someone who enjoys a balanced approach to sales, combining new business development and hunting with the strategic management and growth of existing customer relationships. Around 50% travel will be required, alongside occasional overseas trips.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans across the UK and selected European markets.
  • Identify, target and secure new business opportunities within the fluid and oil analysis, lubricants and reliability sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities to introduce additional services and solutions.
  • Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and relationship development through to negotiation and contract completion.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders across customer organisations.
  • Monitor market developments, customer needs and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, sales forecasts and pipeline information while representing the company at customer meetings and industry events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
