Location: Remote with regular UK travel

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and developing long-term strategic relationships with key partners, acting as a trusted adviser across regional and senior leadership teams, including Board-level stakeholders.
  • Creating and delivering strategic account plans that align partner objectives with business goals, driving sustainable revenue growth and mutual success.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand existing partnerships through upselling, cross-selling and proactive account development.
  • Supporting and working closely with Regional Business Development Managers, providing insight and guidance to help achieve regional and national sales objectives.
  • Developing new strategic partnerships by identifying high-potential opportunities and creating meaningful engagement with prospective organisations.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and resolving issues quickly through collaboration with internal teams.
  • Using market insight, commercial data and industry knowledge to inform recommendations, identify opportunities and support business planning.
  • Preparing and presenting account reviews, forecasts and performance updates to senior internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all activities are conducted in line with FCA regulations, company processes and best practice.

What You Bring

  • Experience managing strategic or key customer accounts within a commercial or business development environment.
  • The confidence to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders, including Board-level contacts.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities that create value for both customers and the business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively across teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • The ability to prioritise, manage multiple stakeholders and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of the construction sector or related industries would be advantageous.

What You'll Need

  • Knowledge of FCA regulations gained within a regulated sales or commercial environment.
  • Proven experience (typically five years or more) in strategic or key account management.
  • Demonstrable success in achieving or exceeding commercial and revenue targets.
  • Experience developing and delivering strategic account plans.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline, or an industry-recognised qualification such as ACII, would be beneficial.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
