Senior Commercial & Strategic Leadership Opportunities – FinTech

Location: London

Working pattern: Hybrid

A growing financial technology business is expanding its senior commercial and client-facing teams following significant investment and the development of strategic partnerships. The business provides technology and infrastructure solutions across collateral, liquidity, risk, settlement and digital markets, helping financial institutions optimise liquidity, reduce operating costs and improve post-trade processes.

The opportunity

We are looking for experienced market professionals to take senior responsibility across areas including business development, strategic partnerships, client relationships and commercial growth. The successful candidates will work closely with clients, partners, product, engineering and executive teams to identify market opportunities, shape propositions and drive successful implementation and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing commercial and revenue growth strategies
  • Building senior relationships with financial institutions and strategic partners
  • Identifying new market opportunities, use cases and channels
  • Shaping propositions, business cases, pricing and commercial models
  • Leading complex opportunities from initial discovery through contracting, implementation and adoption
  • Leading client discovery and solution design
  • Managing enterprise onboarding, delivery and client success
  • Translating client and market requirements into product and technology priorities
  • Using market and client data to support commercial and product decisions
  • Representing the business with clients, partners and industry stakeholders
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues across the organisation

Experience required

We are interested in candidates with:

  • Strong domain expertise across capital markets, post-trade, collateral, treasury, liquidity, payments or settlements
  • Experience within a bank, investment/asset management firm, financial market infrastructure, market technology provider or FinTech
  • A proven track record of building senior client relationships and progressing complex, multi-party initiatives
  • Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of propositions, pricing, revenue models and delivery
  • Experience shaping products or solutions from discovery and design through to implementation and adoption
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to operate effectively in a growing and evolving business

Particularly valuable experience

  • Launching or scaling a network, platform, market utility or multi-party solution
  • Enterprise onboarding, implementation, client success or transformation within a regulated environment
  • Collateral optimisation, clearing, liquidity management or settlement orchestration
  • PvP / DvP, tokenisation or digital assets
  • Strong industry relationships across relevant clients, partners or market infrastructure
  • Experience using data and analytics to develop business cases and measure commercial outcomes
