Role: Strategic Alliances Business Development Manager
Location: We offer Choice-Based Working, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You'll also have access to our Konica Minolta and Regus offices nationwide, with occasional travel as the business requires.
Package:
- Salary: £68,504 - £81,300 + £40k OTE and car allowance

Join Us as a Strategic Alliances Business Development Manager
As our next Strategic Alliances Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in developing, managing, and growing strategic relationships with key alliance partners to drive mutual business growth, increase pipeline generation, and deliver revenue objectives. The role acts as the primary interface between the organisation and its strategic partners, ensuring alignment of business plans, sales engagement, marketing initiatives, and customer opportunities.
Working closely with internal sales, marketing, services, and leadership teams, the Alliances BDM creates and executes partner business plans that maximise market opportunities and strengthen long-term strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, develop and maintain operational relationships with key strategic alliance partners, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned partners.
- Build trusted advisor status with partner stakeholders across sales, marketing, technical and leadership functions.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Create and execute joint business plans aligned to company and partner objectives.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through alliance partner collaboration.
- Drive alliance sourced and influenced pipeline.
- Develop strategies to increase market reach and customer acquisition through alliances.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify, qualify and progress joint opportunities.
- Support opportunity development, account mapping and customer engagement activities.
- Ensure pipeline progression of Alliance generated sales opportunities.
- Coordinate Alliance partner onboarding and enablement programmes.
- Ensure alliance partners understand Konica Minolta's technology offerings, value proposition and go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast, as well as alliance performance against agreed KPIs.
- Coordinate events, webinars, workshops and partner-led demand generation activities, tracking alliance effectiveness and ROI.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Operations to communicate alliance strategy, priorities and opportunities.

We'd Love to Hear from You If You:
- Proven experience in alliance, channel, partner, or strategic account management.
- Demonstrated success in generating revenue through partner ecosystems.
- Strong commercial acumen and business planning capability.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive-level contacts.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and forecasting activities.
- Ability to work across multiple internal departments and external organisations.

Nice to haves:
- Experience within technology, IT services, software, cloud, or managed services sectors.
- Knowledge of vendor partner programmes (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, HPE, VMware, AWS, etc.).
- Experience developing joint go-to-market strategies.
- Understanding of channel and indirect sales models.
