Description
Our client is a service contract provider into FMCG (Food/ Retail), looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager to prospect and new FMCG retail client contracts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the food sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to client needs.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and progress against targets.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the business.

A successful Strategic Business Development Manager should have:
- Proven experience in business development in B2B FMCG Retail.
- A strong understanding of the food sector and its market dynamics.
