National Business Development Manager

As National Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of commercial growth across the UK, developing and executing strategies to expand adoption of AI-powered diagnostic solutions.

Working closely with clinical stakeholders, procurement teams, digital transformation leaders, and senior healthcare executives, you will identify new opportunities, build strategic relationships, and manage complex sales processes from initial engagement through to contract award.
Key areas of focus include:
- Developing a national growth strategy across healthcare accounts.
- Building relationships with senior decision-makers and key opinion leaders.
- Identifying opportunities within diagnostics, digital health, and clinical pathways.
- Leading commercial negotiations and tender submissions.
- Collaborating with marketing, clinical, and product teams to maximise market penetration.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and emerging healthcare priorities.
- Representing the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Success in the role will be measured by revenue growth, strategic account development, and the successful introduction of innovative AI solutions that deliver measurable value for healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially driven business development professional with a track record of winning complex healthcare opportunities.

You are likely to possess:
- Experience selling medical technology, diagnostics, digital health, healthcare software, or life sciences solutions.
- Proven success managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement processes, and healthcare stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Experience presenting to senior clinical and executive audiences.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to business development.
- High levels of resilience, curiosity, and commercial acumen.
- Previous exposure to AI, machine learning, imaging, pathology, diagnostics, or innovative healthcare technologies would be advantageous but is not essential.
