About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Business Insights and Analytical Manager to lead the transformation and development of our Business Insights & Analytics capability. This is a key strategic role for an experienced Business Insights and Analytical leader who can combine commercial thinking, analytical expertise, strategic development and change leadership. We are looking for someone who can not only deliver high-quality insight, but also define a clear vision for the function, challenge existing ways of working and turn that vision into an actionable strategy.

You will lead the development of Business Insights & Analytics, building scalable services that add value for clients and support business growth.

What you’ll be doing

You will set the strategic vision and direction for the Insights & Analytics function, with overall accountability for its performance, evolution and impact across the business. You will establish the function as a trusted strategic partner to senior leadership, ensuring high-quality reporting and analysis translate into commercially relevant insight, influence key decisions and drive business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and deliver the strategy for Business Insights & Analytics.
  • Lead change and improve how the function operates and delivers value.
  • Develop commercially valuable analytics and insight services for new and existing clients.
  • Partner with Business Development and client teams to strengthen proposals and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build scalable analytics solutions that can be used across clients and therapy areas.
  • Lead market analysis, segmentation, forecasting, targeting, territory design and opportunity analysis.
  • Develop the function’s capabilities across people, processes, technology and data.
  • Establish effective KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Improve data quality, governance and consistency.
  • Use automation, predictive analytics and AI to improve efficiency and develop new capabilities.
  • Turn complex data into clear insights, recommendations and actions.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as the lead strategic insights partner.
  • Lead and develop the Insights & Analytics team.
  • Demonstrate the function’s contribution to client value, business performance and growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in commercial analytics, business insights or sales force effectiveness.
  • Experience creating and implementing an insights, analytics or commercial strategy.
  • Experience leading change and developing or transforming analytics or insights function.
  • Strong commercial thinking, with the ability to identify how analytics can create value and support growth.

  • Ability to turn complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar tools.
  • Ability to turn strategy into clear plans and deliver them.
  • Strong track record of working cross-functionally and partnering with key internal or client facing senior stakeholders to translate business needs into insight-led commercial action.
