Are you an experienced client leader who thrives on building long-term strategic partnerships with major retail brands? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading customer engagement and brand experience business seeking an accomplished Strategic Client Partnership Director to lead one of its most significant retail partnerships.
This is a rare opportunity to become the senior strategic contact for a nationally recognised retail client, shaping the direction of a long-standing partnership while leading high-performing commercial and delivery teams. Rather than simply managing campaigns, you'll influence senior stakeholders, identify new commercial opportunities and ensure exceptional delivery across a broad portfolio of retail marketing, experiential and shopper engagement programmes.
The Opportunity
Working closely with senior client stakeholders, you'll take ownership of a flagship account, aligning business objectives with innovative marketing solutions that create measurable commercial impact.
- Bring together strategy, client development, creative thinking and operational delivery, ensuring every activation strengthens the partnership while identifying opportunities for future growth.
This role suits someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and commercial level, balancing long-term planning with the pace and complexity of a fast-moving retail environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
