Role Description
The Strategic Client Relationship Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for part-time work from home. In this role, the manager leads strategic relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth across GC&C’s insurance solutions.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

- Managing client portfolios
- Coordinating renewal and negotiation processes
- Identifying opportunities to expand coverage and services
- Collaborating closely with underwriting, claims, loss prevention, and multinational program teams to deliver tailored solutions and resolve complex client issues
- Preparing client presentations
- Monitoring service performance
- Providing regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
- Strong Business Relationship Management and Account Management skills to oversee strategic client and broker portfolios.
- Proficiency in Customer Retention and Relationship Building to support long-term partnerships and sustainable business growth.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present complex insurance concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in corporate or commercial insurance, ideally within property and casualty or multinational programs.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with strong collaboration, time management, and organizational capabilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret client needs, market trends, and risk profiles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, risk management, or a related field; professional insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII or similar) are an advantage.
- Comfort working in international and multicultural contexts, with a client-centric mindset and ethical, inclusive approach.
