Strategic Construction Manager (Energy Projects)

Are you a Construction Manager from an Energy Projects background looking for a permanent role where you will be leading strategy for complex projects within the Energy and Gas transmission space for a Tier 1 global business?

Do you want an autonomous role where you'll make a significant impact, reporting directly to senior leadership, and your achievements will be recognised?

In this role you will be overseeing complex Construction projects across the UK's Gas Transmission Network and, in the future, the Rolls Royce Small Modular Reactor project. Responsible for key deliverables including standardising strategy, project compliance and manpower; you will be reporting directly to senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone for a Tier 1 business working on projects of national significance.

This role would suit a Construction Manager from an Energy projects background looking for a strategic position that grants autonomy, further progression and recognition for your achievements.

The Role:

  • Responsible for multi-million pound construction projects
  • Approving project plans
  • Creating CDM plans and ensuring compliance
  • Key contact for clients, liasing between key stakeholders and managing expectations
  • Responsible for manpower and continuation
  • Working from a Widnes based office, Hybrid, with travel to projects around the UK when required

  • Construction Manager
  • Energy, Oil, Gas, Power/Gas Transmission project experience or similar
