A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Business Development Strategy & Planning Specialist at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating new sales and marketing growth opportunities across various strategic areas. Your work will encompass commercial and pricing strategy, sales channel strategy, and new product development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop optimal revenue models, sales channels, and pricing strategies, while also identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships. Your insights will be vital in prioritizing and tracking investments across new product development initiatives, contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Negotiate strategic partnerships, including financial arrangements, customer sharing, and intellectual property rights.
- Lead strategic business projects across Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement and Manufacturing from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring objectives, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver key business initiatives and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing clear communication, governance, and project reporting.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement by promoting project management best practices and contributing to the development of project delivery standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver key business initiatives as well as identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing effective mitigation strategies.

What You Bring
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in project management and integrating new business ideas or acquisitions is a plus.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
