Help shape the future of healthcare decision-making

We are seeking a strategic consultant to join our operational research group. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced consultant who enjoys bringing together strategic thinking, innovation, analytics, and healthcare expertise to solve complex challenges.

Working across multiple therapeutic areas including cardiology, diabetes, immunology, virology, and oncology, you will combine strategic insight with operational delivery to help clients navigate market access and healthcare decision-making.

You'll play a key role in:

  • Leading and managing large multi-workstream projects, including global evidence packages, HTA, and market access projects
  • Providing strategic consultancy to clients, helping solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes
  • Leading proposals, pitches, and business development activities, while building and strengthening client partnerships and identifying new opportunities to support business growth
  • Driving both internal and external thought leadership initiatives, translating innovative ideas, research, and insights into tangible business impact
  • Developing written materials for thought leadership including value messages, posters, slide decks, reports and peer-reviewed publications
  • Developing analytical, operational, and strategic solutions, and communicating recommendations to a range of stakeholders
  • Collaborating across HEOR's multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative client projects

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree-qualified (minimum BSc) in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience working within a market access, HEOR, or related consultancy environment
  • Experience in one or more HEOR disciplines, such as health economic modelling, data science, evidence review, value communications, health technology assessment, or market access
  • Proven experience managing large and complex programmes of work
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Experience leading proposal development and contributing to business development activities
  • Experience in building client partnerships
  • Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience developing scientific and strategic written materials
  • Line management and leadership experience

Hybrid working

This role is based in either our Cardiff or Bicester office, with an expectation of at least three days per week in the office to support collaboration, learning and knowledge sharing.
