Strategic Corporate Lead

Harris Hill is delighted to be partnering with a fantastic charity to recruit a Strategic Corporate Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate fundraiser, partnerships professional or commercially minded relationship builder to join a growing income generation team at an ambitious stage of its development.

This is a senior strategic fundraising position, with responsibility for securing high value, transformational corporate partnerships that deliver significant long term income and wider strategic value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition of strategically significant and transformational corporate partnerships.
  • Identify, develop and convert high-value opportunities with national, regional and high-potential organisations.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline focused on substantial, multi-year income growth.
  • Develop bespoke and commercially compelling partnership propositions aligned with both corporate and charity objectives.
  • Build and influence relationships with C-suite executives, senior decision makers and corporate stakeholders.
  • Lead complex partnership negotiations to secure significant financial and strategic commitments.
  • Secure and develop six and seven figure corporate partnerships and multi-year strategic collaborations.
  • Represent the charity as a senior ambassador at corporate meetings, sector events and networking opportunities.
  • Use market intelligence, sector insight and competitor awareness to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Provide strategic support and guidance across the wider corporate partnerships function where appropriate.
  • Manage high value opportunities, forecasting, pipeline development and financial reporting.

You will have:

  • A demonstrable track record of securing six figure and multi year corporate partnerships, contracts or strategic relationships.
  • Experience engaging, influencing and negotiating with senior executives, C-suite leaders and corporate decision makers.
  • Strong business development, prospecting and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to convert opportunities into long term partnerships.
  • Experience developing and delivering compelling pitches, proposals and presentations to senior audiences.
  • Excellent influencing, networking, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience creating bespoke partnership propositions and leading complex negotiations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into sustainable income.
  • Experience developing high value pipelines, forecasting income and managing opportunities through to conversion.
  • The ability to work strategically and independently in a target driven, high performance environment.
  • Confidence and credibility when representing an organisation externally at a senior level.
  • A proactive, motivated and results focused approach.

Experience within corporate fundraising, strategic partnerships, sponsorship, sales, business development or commercial relationship management would be highly desirable, as would experience working with national brands or large corporate organisations and an understanding of CSR, ESG or purpose led partnerships.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £55,000
  • Performance-related bonus: £3,000 per annum, linked to agreed income and programme milestones
  • Contract type: Permanent, full time
  • Location: Keele, Staffordshire, hybrid working with around 2 days in the office a month (flexible)
  • Deadline: On rolling basis
