Role Overview
This is much broader than a traditional Film & Motion leadership role.
We’re looking for an accomplished creative leader and storyteller who can bring together brilliant people, shape ambitious ideas and build trusted relationships with clients, while understanding the commercial realities behind delivering exceptional creative work.
You’ll join the in-house creative and digital agency of a major global organisation, working across extraordinary projects spanning infrastructure, cities, transport, engineering and technology.
The scale is significant and so is the opportunity to make an impact.
At its heart, this role is about creative leadership.
You’ll take complex briefs and find the story within them, establishing the creative vision and bringing together the right combination of film, motion, design, visualisation and technical expertise to deliver it.
You won’t necessarily be the specialist executing every element. You will, however, know what great looks like, have the confidence to challenge and elevate the work, and create an environment where talented specialists can do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
There is real breadth to the position, so you will be expected to:
- Lead the creative vision and direction of Film & Motion projects
- Bring multidisciplinary creative and technical teams together around a shared idea
- Direct film and motion work from initial concept through to delivery
- Develop, mentor and inspire creative talent
- Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders
- Lead workshops, presentations, pitches and creative conversations
- Scope and price projects, plan resources and understand utilisation and profitability
- Spot opportunities, support work winning and help grow existing client relationships
- Maintain creative quality while balancing deadlines, budgets and commercial objectives

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications and Skills
You have likely developed your career through film, motion, design or a combination of these disciplines, progressing into a position where you’re now leading both ideas and people. You will have strong visual judgement, with an appreciation of design, typography, branding and storytelling alongside film and motion craft.
Just as importantly, you’ll have the broad shoulders required for a role of this scale too.
You will be comfortable leading experienced creative and technical specialists, challenging work constructively, making decisions and representing the discipline with senior stakeholders. But this isn't about ego. The best person will know when to lead from the front and when to step back, listen and allow other specialists to shine.

Commercial awareness matters too. You’ll understand that great creative work also needs to be properly scoped, resourced and delivered, and you'll be comfortable developing client relationships that lead naturally to further opportunities.
Future Opportunities
Looking forward, it is clear that film and motion are evolving rapidly.
The team is increasingly exploring interactive experiences, real-time technology, gaming, VR/AR and AI-enabled creative workflows. You don't need to be the technical expert in every emerging technology, but you should be curious, adaptable and excited about how these tools can expand the creative possibilities.
The projects can be enormous in scale and ambition, bringing together some exceptional creative and technical talent to solve challenges that simply don't exist in most creative environments.
Why Join Us?
