Description
As a strategic delivery lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering Xantura’s mission to reduce societal inequality through better use of data. You will lead the successful delivery of some of our most strategic programmes, combining hands-on leadership of complex delivery with oversight across a small team of Project Managers.
This is a hybrid leadership and delivery role, sitting between our Senior Project Managers and the Head of Business Consulting. You will directly lead a complex client programme, providing hands-on oversight across multiple projects or workstreams delivered by members of your pod.
Alongside delivery, you will be responsible for developing your team, maintaining a high standard of delivery across your pod, and shaping the longer-term success of a portfolio of client accounts. You will build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, connecting immediate delivery priorities with clients’ strategic objectives and identifying opportunities to deepen Xantura’s impact.
Working closely with the Head of Business Consulting, you will support resource planning, drive delivery excellence, contribute to the evolution of our delivery methodology, and act as a role model for best practice working across the team.
This role is ideal for an experienced consultant or project leader who enjoys balancing complex delivery, people leadership, strategic account management and wider team contribution.

- Work with client leaders and frontline teams to understand the impact of change, build engagement and readiness, and support the adoption of new tools, insights and ways of working.
- Maintain a clear view of delivery health across your team’s projects, providing proportionate challenge and support and acting as a senior escalation point when required.
- Drive client adoption, operational improvement and benefits realisation, ensuring our work delivers meaningful impact for frontline services and residents.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
