Job Description
Join us in shaping the future of holiday experiences across our P&O Cruises and Cunard brands as VP, Strategic Execution & Value.
This is a senior, enterprise-level role focused on maximising value realisation from our strategic plan and investments — connecting strategy, portfolio choices, delivery execution, and business and people change to ensure our strategic intent translates into measurable outcomes and sustained value.
Role Overview
Based at Carnival House, you will lead the Strategy Execution & Value team and act as a strategic execution partner to the Executive Leadership Team.
As a VP, Strategic Execution & Value, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our strategy is translated into execution — strengthening delivery, improving visibility of performance, and protecting value across the organisation.
Key accountabilities include:
- Translate strategy into an executable, value-focused portfolio, strengthening business cases, optimising investment sequencing and improving visibility of dependencies, risks and return on investment
- Act as an enterprise connector across strategy, portfolio investment decisions, delivery execution and business change to maintain alignment and protect value
- Partner with senior leaders to enable successful execution through insight, challenge and early intervention, while maintaining clear accountability with programme sponsors
- Lead enterprise strategic planning cycles, including the periodic review of the strategic plan and delivery of targeted, ELT-sponsored initiatives and deep dives
Job Requirements
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, execution discipline, and senior stakeholder influence. We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience developing and implementing strategy and embedding effective execution frameworks
- Extensive experience driving delivery through senior leaders across complex, matrix organisations
- A strong track record of delivering results within a target-driven, performance-focused environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at Executive and Board level

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
